    HOW DO I KNOW WHICH SHADE TO CHOOSE?

    If you are unsure, we *always* suggest purchasing samples first! It can also be helpful to determine whether your skin undertones are "warm", "cool", or "neutral". Warm undertones typically get darker in the sun without burning, tend to look best in gold jewelry, and veins on wrist may appear green. Cool undertones typically burn easily, look best in silver jewelry, and veins on wrist may appear blue. Neutral undertones have a mixture of cool + warm tones, skin may get darker in the sun but sometimes burn, and veins on wrist may appear green or purple.

    WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO APPLY THE CRYSTAL VEIL?

    It is important to thoroughly shake this product (vigorously/ until you hear the glass shaker balls), otherwise the pigment may not disperse evenly in the bottle. It applies best with the fingers, as you would a serum or moisturizer. For more medium coverage, try pressing into skin instead or apply in layers, allowing 1 minute for them to dry in between. A foundation brush or makeup sponge can be used if desired.

    CAN I LAYER OTHER SKINCARE PRODUCTS UNDERNEATH?

    This standalone formula applies best with minimal products layered under it, as it is an all-in-one moisturizer + serum. It is important to avoid oils or creams underneath, as these can prevent the formula from absorbing and may result in a heavier or oilier feel on the skin. Water-based serums and toners are generally okay underneath if allowed to dry first. SPF can be applied underneath and should be allowed to absorb for 10-15 minutes before applying the Crystal Veil.

    DOES THIS PRODUCT CONTAIN SPF?

    Crystal Veil is formulated with Zinc oxide as the first ingredient; however this product has not been tested or approved by the FDA as a replacement for sunscreen or for its efficacy against skin cancer.

    WILL THIS DEWY FORMULA WORK WITH OILY SKIN?

    This formula does have a "dewy" finish to it, but the ingredients were carefully chosen to nourish and balance all skin-types over time, including oily. For those with oily skin who find the formula to be too dewy, we suggest finishing with your favorite setting powder or blotting any excess shine with a tissue once the product has been allowed to absorb for a few minutes.

    A nice dewy foundation

    I'll admit I was very hesitant to buy because of the price but went for it and I love it. I only use a few drops which gives my skin a dewy & light coverage, moisturizes my face and doesn't seem to sit on top of my face weird nor does it become cakey at all. I will definitely buy a sample size next time so I can refill it and take that on that go.
